Freshly extracted daily, 100% pure Kan-Zaw oil is bottled with dust-free, ultra-violet sterilized, FDA registered facility at KZ Laboratory. The oil is extracted directly from the fresh Kan-Zaw seeds, collected and sun-dried in Myeik, Myanmar, 5km from the Kan-Zaw trees. Without interrupting its nutrients and purity, the oil is processed with no modern production facility, and bottled right on-site before transporting to KZ Laboratory. 100% pure means it is of no color, no fragment, no concentrated, nor other type of base oil added. KZ sells only pure 100% Kan-Zaw oil. In the present work the fatty acid analysis, Kan-Zaw seed oil contains approximately >70% α-eleostearic acid and 3.25 % β-eleostearic acid, which is an unusual conjugated fatty acid that imparts a potent anti-cancer application and industrially important drying qualities to Kan-Zaw oil. The present study also investigated cyto-toxic potential of various extracts of Kan-Zaw seeds using ethanol, methanol, acetone, chloroform and commercial Kan-Zaw oil against human cervical cancer cell line (HeLa) by MTT 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay.
